BANNI RUST AND WHITE CUSHION
Add an elevated, bold accent to your space through the combination of stylized geometric applique and delicate hand embroidery.
The design for this cushion draws inspiration from the flow of the Indus river and its gradual deposits, that gave rise to the Banni grasslands. Since Banni is derived from the Hindi word Banai, meaning made, each cushion is meticulously hand embroidered and appliqued to pay homage to this beautiful physical feature of Kachchh. The embroidery details also depict the story of wanderers that moved across the vast Kachchh region in search of pastoral land.
Crafted, detailed and finished by master artisans on a hand-loomed 100% cotton base.
