In order to better protect you, we have adopted a strong privacy policy that allows you to monitor the information you have provided us . This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.thecalicoguild.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services or applications, even if they are accessible through our Site.

 TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Placing an Order with Us: When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, which includes but is not limited to: your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

Creating an Account with Us: You have the option of creating an account with The Calico Guild to allow easy access to your order history. During account creation, you provide your name and email address directly to us.

Automatic Data Collection: When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.” If necessary, we retain this information at a user level for a certain period in order to ensure that our service is functioning properly. We may also retain data at an aggregated level – so that no individual user, albeit anonymous, could be picked out from the data – indefinitely for purposes of reporting and system analytics.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

COOKIES, PIXEL TAGS, ANALYTICS INFORMATION AND WEB BASED ADVERTISING

As is the case with many sites, when you visit our site and complete a registration form, we will place a "cookie" on your computer, which helps us identify you more quickly when you return. We will not use "cookies" or other devices to follow your click stream on the Internet generally, but will use them, and other devices, to determine which pages or information you find most useful or interesting at our own Web sites.

Most browsers permit you to refuse to accept a "cookie" offered by a Web site. You will not be denied access to any part of the website on account of your refusal to accept a "cookie," but your transactions through this Web site may be delayed due to the time it takes you to re-enter basic information necessary to complete a transaction.

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
