KATAB GREY AND WHITE CUSHION
This statement cushion is a result of blending earth tones with the intricate and subtle detail of Bhujodi weaves.
From forms indicative of the vast horizon and hues inspired by the desert, comes the Katab cushion. Named after the local term for the applique technique, it is a contemporary ode to the journeys of the Nomads across the Kachchh desert. The extra-weft technique of Bhujodi weaves, accentuated by delicate piping details on appliqued fabric bring dimension to any arrangement.
Bhujodi Fabric made with kala cotton yarn that is hand spun by the women of rural Kachchh and woven by master artisans on a traditional pit loom. Appliqued, detailed and finished on a handloomed 100% cotton base.
